ECHOES: Core
2026
The movement of the series turns inward. Instead of expanding outward like a wave, the ribbons gather into a compact center, forming a dense cluster of gestures. Each ribbon carries the memory of the lines I once worked with in wire, but the wider surface allows the forms to fold and overlap in new ways. The sculpture becomes a kind of nucleus within the Echoes series, where earlier ideas return and accumulate. It feels like a moment where the echoes of my past works meet, intertwine, and begin to transform again.
